Bunkrmate Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all Bunkrmate experiences (“Experiences”), including nomad trips, founder retreats, and community travel programs.

1. Non-Refundable Deposit (10%)
  • All Bunkrmate Experiences require a 10% deposit to secure a spot.

  • The 10% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • The deposit covers upfront planning, venue commitments, and operational costs.

Refunds apply only to the remaining 90% balance, if paid.

2. Refund Eligibility (Balance Only)

If you have paid more than the deposit, the following refund terms apply to the remaining balance only:

45+ days before the Experience start date
  • Refund of 100% of the remaining balance
    (You effectively receive up to 90% of the total price back)

30–44 days before the Experience start date
  • Refund of 50% of the remaining balance

15–29 days before the Experience start date
  • Refund of 25% of the remaining balance

Less than 14 days before the Experience start date
  • No refunds of any kind

3. Paid-in-Full Bookings

For participants who paid the full amount upfront:

  • The maximum refund possible is 90%

  • The refund decreases based on the cancellation timeline above

4. Transfers & Credits (Optional Flexibility)

At Bunkrmate’s discretion, participants may request:

  • A credit toward a future Experience (valid for 12 months), or

  • A name transfer to another eligible participant

Approval is not guaranteed and depends on timing and availability.

5. No-Shows & Early Departures

No refunds will be issued for:

  • No-shows

  • Late arrivals

  • Early departures

  • Missed activities

Once an Experience begins, it is considered fully delivered.

6. Cancellations by Bunkrmate

If Bunkrmate cancels an Experience due to safety, operational, or force majeure reasons:

  • Participants will receive a full credit, including the deposit,
    OR

  • A refund of all payments made excluding the non-refundable deposit

Bunkrmate is not responsible for independent travel expenses.

7. Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, and health-related issues.

8. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method

  • Processing time: 7–14 business days

  • Transaction fees and currency differences are non-refundable
